Course Overview
The Goethe/TELC A1 Preparation Course is a comprehensive exam-focused program designed for students who want to prepare for the Goethe and TELC A1 exams. This course aims to enable students to make special preparation for the A1 exam format, learn exam techniques, and be successful. The program, which offers an intensive preparation experience with 20 lesson hours per week, lasts 4 weeks and consists of approximately 80 lesson hours.
Target Exams and Prerequisites
This course prepares for the Goethe A1 and TELC A1 exams. It is suitable for students who have completed the A1 level. The Goethe A1 exam is a worldwide recognized German language certificate and documents basic level German knowledge. The TELC A1 exam is a language certificate widely used across Europe and is especially important for immigration applications. Both exams measure language skills at the A1 level.
Course Content and Preparation Methods
During the course, students make special preparation for the A1 exam format. The four sections of the exam (reading, listening, writing, speaking) are studied in detail and exam techniques are taught. Students are prepared for the real exam environment with mock exams, past questions, and exam simulations. Additionally, support is provided on topics such as time management, stress management, and exam strategies. At the end of the course, students have all the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in the A1 exam.
Teaching Method and Classroom Environment
The course is conducted by experienced teachers and there are a maximum of 8 students in each class. This small class size allows for a focus on students' individual needs. Classes are enriched with exercises specific to the exam format, mock exams, feedback sessions, and individual counseling. Students not only learn grammar, but also learn exam techniques and strategies.
Support Services
We provide support on exam application processes. Our students are informed about exam dates, application processes, and exam fees. At the end of the course, students will have completed all the necessary preparation to get an A1 level certificate. If unsuccessful, there is an opportunity for course repetition. **Important:** Campus German does not guarantee exam success. Exam results depend on various factors and are determined by official exam institutions.
