The program, which offers an intensive learning experience with 24 lesson hours per week, lasts 12 weeks and consists of approximately 200 lesson hours.

Target Audience and Prerequisites

This course is suitable for students who have successfully completed the B2 level. The C1 level is one of the highest levels in learning German, and at this level students become able to communicate almost at native speaker level. Students planning university education in Germany, those planning to conduct academic research, those wanting to work in senior positions in business life, or anyone planning a professional career in German-speaking countries can participate in this course.

Course Content and Learning Goals

At C1 level, students become able to understand long and complex texts, grasp implied meanings, and speak fluently and spontaneously. During the course, academic grammar structures, scientific vocabulary, research writing techniques, and professional presentation skills are taught. Students become able to understand academic articles, write research papers, discuss complex topics, and make professional presentations. Additionally, language structures necessary for topics such as science, technology, art, and philosophy are taught.

Teaching Method and Classroom Environment

The course is conducted with a communication-focused approach. There are a maximum of 12 students in each class and each class has two teachers. This system allows for a focus on students' individual language development. Classes are enriched with academic text analysis, research projects, academic writing work, discussion activities, and presentation work. Students not only learn grammar but also develop their academic and professional skills.

Post-Course Progress

Students who successfully complete the C1 level earn the right to receive a C1 level certificate. This certificate shows that the student has advanced level German knowledge and is accepted as sufficient for all German universities. After the course, students can take university entrance exams such as TestDaF, DSH, or telc C1 Hochschule. The C1 level is the language level required for university-level education and professional career.
